20 Reasons Why You Still Have Acne. How to Stop and Cure Acne

Why Do I still have acne?

So you might ask yourself, “Why do I still get acne?” In addition, “Why do I keep breaking out?” There are certain factors to consider if you still experience acne in your 20s, 30s, or even 40s.

I experimented with all of the reasons listed here, which resulted in acne and breakouts. What I believe is that one factor is not the sole cause of your acne or any other condition you may be experiencing.

It is the result of a number of factors and reasons. In this case, some or all of the reasons listed below may apply to you. Some of them are things you’re aware of, while others you probably haven’t heard of.

Every problem has a cause, so sit down and figure out what you’re doing wrong and stop doing it to avoid recurring acne that makes you uncomfortable.

Another point I’d like to make is that everything has a cost, and the reason why frequent breakouts are bad for your health and beauty is that your body loses certain minerals in specific amounts to heal the acne and marks.

So, the sooner you take action, the better off you will be and the sooner you will regain your beauty and confidence.

  • Hormonal Imbalance

When you thought you’d finally gotten rid of your acne. It returns and stays with you for a long time. You keep thinking it will go away and never return, but it always does. You are surprised to have acne even in your late twenties, thirties, or forties. You had enough acne as a teenager, but this problem is complicating your life, lowering your confidence, and decreasing your attractiveness.

  • Toxins

Toxin buildup is another major cause of skin problems caused by air pollution, poor food choices, and a negative mindset. Toxic overload puts a lot of strain on your liver, making it sluggish and resulting in inflammation and an acidic body.

Toxins must find an alternative route of excretion if your liver is unable to adequately detoxify your bloodstream. This is usually the skin. This is why having regular bowel movements is essential for digestive health and acne prevention.

  • Stress and Worry

Toxic thoughts lead to toxic bodies. Negative thinking and excessive worrying literally harm all of your body’s systems. Chronic stress can cause hormonal imbalances, inflammation, acidic ph levels in the body, and mineral loss.

It does not cause acne, but it does release a hormone called cortisol, which activates the sebaceous glands, causing more oil to be produced which can have an impact on acne production. Everything is connected in my philosophy.

  • Makeup Products

Determine whether you are using any make-up products or lotions that are irritating your skin and causing you to break out, and then discontinue using some of them to see if you notice any improvements. Some ingredients in makeup products are comedogenic, which means they clog pores.

  • Hair Products

Because of the presence of harmful ingredients, some hair products, such as hair gel, spray, color, and shampoo, can cause acne. Choose your hair products wisely, and avoid those that you believe aggravate your pimples.

I still remember my first hair gel, which caused frequent minor breakouts when I was a teenager. I suspected it was the hair gel and stopped using it; the pimples and breakouts disappeared quickly.

Due to an allergic reaction, the hair gel was causing me to scratch my skin. As a result, you may be allergic to some of the ingredients in hair products.

  • Malnutrition

Malnutrition is caused by a diet lacking in essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. Long-term, this can result in a variety of healthy symptoms.

One of the reasons you continue to get acne is malnutrition. Another symptom of mineral deficiencies is delayed or prolonged wound healing, as well as acne marks.

  • Not Maintaining Healthy Weight

Being underweight or overweight can have serious consequences for your hormones and immune system. The likelihood of developing acne can rise when the hormonal system isn’t functioning properly. The immune system simply cannot handle the strain of preventing inflammation and acidity in the body, which can lead to skin conditions and slow scar tissue healing.

Underweight people do not get enough calories and do not get enough amino acids and minerals to fight infections and stay healthy. Being overweight can also increase the risk of toxic overload and organ energy loss.

  • Not Enough Rest

Let me tell you something you already know: your body requires a break and long-term rest in order to balance itself. This is one of the most important messages your body is trying to send you.

Simply take a long break to relax, sleep more, and eat healthily. You’ll be surprised at how quickly the symptoms go away. Your body simply cannot fight and prevent recurring acne because you are still doing something wrongly

  • Bad Diet

Sit down and analyze, then go through and reevaluate your diet to see what you are eating wrong. Something you eat on a daily basis could be harmful to your health. Aside from eating the wrong foods, you may be lacking in nutritious foods such as vegetables and fruits.

Your body requires them to thrive and nourish itself. The timing of your meals is also crucial. Are you avoiding meals? Do you eat too late? Are you consuming an excessive amount of liquid with your meal? So, figure out what’s going on and learn from your mistakes.

Foods containing flour and simple sugar are all common acne triggers. High glycemic foods are quickly digested into sugar in your body, resulting in a rapid rise in blood sugar. When your blood sugar levels rise, your body produces insulin and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1).

These hormones cause your body to produce more male hormones (testosterone), which causes pores in your skin to secrete large amounts of sebum.

  • Greasy Foods

Oily and fried foods put additional strain on your liver and gallbladder. Consuming greasy foods on a regular basis will eventually slow down and weaken your digestive system.

Consume no more fat than your body can handle in one meal. To digest food, your body produces a certain amount of enzymes.

Lipase is a digestive enzyme that is required for fat digestion. So, if your body lacks lipase and you consume 25-50 grams of fat in one sitting, you will most likely experience discomfort and heaviness.

This is a recipe for indigestion and increased inflammation, which will lead to new breakouts. In the long run, you could harm your gallbladder.

  • Poor Hygiene

Another reason you may still break out frequently is a lack of personal hygiene. Do you take showers on a regular basis? Do you change your clothes on a regular basis? Do you frequently wash your hands and face? But keep in mind that this may not be the primary cause of your acne. However, if you believe you are not maintaining proper hygiene at all times, I believe this accounts for at least 10% of your overall acne breakouts.

  • Pollution (Lack of Clean Fresh Air)

Get out in nature as much as possible. Don’t stay in the house for extended periods of time. Breathe in as much fresh air as possible. Toxins are more prevalent inside the home than outside.

If you live in an area with a lot of factories, dust, and smoke, it can definitely affect your skin’s health. Spend more time in nature and inhale clean, fresh air.

  • Food Sensitivity

You must understand and know your body and determine which foods cause inflammation. Find out which foods cause stomach problems.

If necessary, get a food sensitivity allergy test. I’m not a big fan of this test and don’t think it’s very accurate, but use your logic and do it if you truly believe this is one of the reasons. However, it is preferable to listen to your body after eating certain foods and gradually eliminate them to see how you feel.

  • Zinc Deficiency

Zinc deficiency is very common among most people around the world. It is difficult to fix the deficiency. Look for other signs of zinc deficiency. Being low on this vital mineral can increase the chance of acne breakouts. Zinc is essential for proper digestion, immune system, and hormonal health. Being deficient and low on zinc can have a big impact on your skin condition.

  • Lack of Sun

“I will go where the sun goes, I am there where sunshine.” Vitamin D is essential for your health and happiness. People with low vitamin D levels may experience hormonal imbalance, inflammation, and magnesium deficiency. Acne is caused by a combination of all of these factors. Increase your levels by getting some sunshine whenever you can.

  • Touching your Face

Touching your skin frequently, especially when you have pimples, can aggravate the situation. Bacteria can easily spread to other areas of the skin. It can also result in temporary or permanent scarring. So try not to touch your face. Are you someone who frequently touches their eyes, nose, and face? People with flawless skin avoid touching their faces and keep their hands away from it. Stop the bad habit if you want to see improvements in your skin’s health.

  • Touching Yourself often

Excessive masturbation and ejaculation are a waste of energy and minerals. You are depleting vital minerals that keep your skin healthy and vibrant, such as zinc and magnesium. During the act, B vitamins, zinc, Vitamin D, and amino acids are also lost. This is why there was and still is a debate about whether masturbation causes acne in teenagers. The answer is yes. It is not the only reason, but it is one of the factors affecting your skin’s health.

  • Forgetting to do your Laundry

You might not be keeping track of your laundry schedule. You might have forgotten to change your sweaty clothes from the day before. You’ve been resting your head on the same pillow for the past ten days.

Increase the number of times you do laundry. Don’t wear the same clothes you wore during the day to bed. At least twice a week, change the sheets and pillowcases.

  • Inflammation and Acidic body

You are still eating foods that cause inflammation in your body. You can be extremely sensitive to certain foods. Stop eating greasy foods and limit your intake of dairy and sugar. You do not consume enough vegetables and fruits. So don’t forget to eat them on a regular basis. Green leafy vegetables can help prevent and treat acid reflux and improve digestion.

  • Weak Digestion

One of the main causes of your ongoing battle with skin conditions such as acne, pimples, boils, eczema, and rosacea is a poor digestive system. Many people complain about stomach problems, particularly in the Western world, as a result of unhealthy food choices and a bad lifestyle.

Inflammation, hormonal imbalance, and a weakened immune system are all side effects of chronic indigestion. It increases the likelihood of toxic overload. So they are all a combination of your skin problems and the reasons why you are constantly getting acne.
