Smoothie is the most nutritious and convenient beverage to consume. It’s not only delicious, but it’s also a quick and easy way to get your daily servings of fruits and vegetables. Take it with you wherever you go, and drink it as a snack or with your meals; the choice is yours.
Everyone has various preferences for fruits and vegetables. You can make smoothies with your favorite fruits and try different flavors.
Fruits and vegetables contain vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that are essential for meeting our daily nutritional needs as well as treating deficiencies of any kind.
The smoothie I’m about to describe is my all-time favorite, and once you try it, you’ll understand why. It contains the following fruit and spinach combinations.
1- Spinach
2- Blueberries
3- Cherries
4- Apricots
5- Kiwi
6- Avocado
Basically, the most nutritious fruits are all ready for you to enjoy in liquid form. A cup of all of the fruits mentioned, plus one avocado and a cup of spinach will make a couple of glasses of delicious smoothie with a great texture that you will enjoy.
However, you can replace some of the fruits with your preferred fruits, such as strawberries instead of cherries or raspberries or blackberries instead of apricots, or you can add them instead of substituting them.
The general rule is one green leafy vegetable with a variety of fruits, and don’t forget avocado—I cannot enjoy a smoothie without it. The best green leafy vegetable for a smoothie base is spinach.
If you are juicing, you shouldn’t use spinach. Celery is a superior substitute instead. I should note that since the cherries are already pitted, I use frozen blueberries and frozen cherries in my smoothies. It is therefore more practical. You may also use fresh ones.
For an additional boost, you might also think about putting a piece of kale in your smoothie. In the past 15 years, I’ve tried a lot of smoothies, and this is by far the best and tastiest one.
I hope you enjoy my favorite smoothie recipe. Let me know what you think and what your favorite smoothies are in the comments.
