The Surprising Mineral That Fights Depression and Boosts Your Immune System

There is one mineral that is often overlooked but has a tremendous impact on mental health and the immune system. Many people are deficient in this mineral without realizing it. It’s perhaps worth mentioning the positive changes that can occur in your life once you address the deficiency and regularly consume enough of it.

After extensive research and conducting my experiments on this mineral, it has become evident that it is one of the most crucial minerals for our immune system, not to mention its ability to alleviate depressive symptoms.

Whenever I feel under the weather, increasing my intake of this mineral helps me avoid getting sick and significantly decreases recovery time. This incredible mineral is called Selenium.

There is more to say, of course, about its benefits. It’s worth noting how this essential mineral supports the immune system, fertility, and cognitive function.

Several studies support my findings that low selenium intake is associated with poor mood and depression. This is why I rely on my experiments and experiences rather than solely on information.

In fact, after conducting experiments on myself and other people with various body types, I’ve concluded that selenium is critical for maintaining good physical and mental health.

Feeling low or anxious? Consider the impact of selenium. Consume selenium-rich foods regularly and observe how it can gradually improve and alleviate your symptoms. For example, expectant mothers who increase their selenium intake before giving birth are less likely to develop postpartum depression.

Low selenium levels have been associated with depressed mood, anxiety, confusion, and muscle weakness. After increasing my selenium intake, I felt less depressed, had more energy, and could concentrate better.

Selenium can help to boost white blood cells, which improves the body’s ability to fight disease and infection. It is therefore critical for the immune system’s ability to defend against infection.

In conclusion. Selenium could very well be the missing link in treating your anxiety, depression, and compromised immune system.
